How to Become a Successful Entrepreneur

"Success can be achieved through hard work, frugality, integrity, responsiveness to change, and most of all, the boldness to dream."

Successful is having succeeded or being marked by a favorable outcome while, Entrepreneur is someone who organize a business venture and assumes the risk of it.

Running a business is an ambitious, challenging, creative and flexible way to chart one’s future and become one’s own boss. Aside from gaining a living, it is about creating a new way of life. Becoming an entrepreneur takes foresight, determination and courage. You will be stepping out of the relatively safe environment of the remunerated world, where you get regular pay checks, and venturing into the uncharted territory of the business world.

But, how can you know whether it would be better for you to be a remunerated employee, or if you have it in you to be a successful entrepreneur? While there is no guaranteed formula for entrepreneurial success, according to expert studies it has been shown that there are certain characteristics that all successful entrepreneurs have in their persona such as self-confidence(freedom from doubt, belief in yourself and your abilities), integrity(moral soundness), perseverance(persistent determination), commitment(the trait of sincere and steadfast fixity of purpose), initiative(readiness to embark on bold new ventures), positive response to change, foresight(seeing ahead, knowing in advance), dynamism(active strength of body and mind), perceptiveness(a feeling of understanding), optimism(a general disposition to expect the best in all things), and leadership(the activity to lead).
In addition, herewith are some tips to become a successful entrepreneur:
Do what you love. This is probably what goaded the idea of starting your own business, so stick to it. It's easier to put uncounted hours into doing something you have a passion for, rather than something that you scorn. Make business as your lifestyle.

Take what you do in earnest. When building a successful business it's important to stay focused and not to take any crosscuts that may prove damaging in the long run. Never engage in shifty business, choose your business partners and confidants with caution, make sure to use remote data backup to keep all crucial information from being lost, keep confidential information securely protected, and always believe in yourself.
Have a program. Make sure to set you objectives, goals, and priorities early on in the startup process. Having those in place will ensure that you don't veer too far off your roadmap to success. If you find yourself getting off track, take time to reevaluate, resituate, and get back on track. In all of your plans ask wisdom from God.

Remain organized. It's hard to be successful if you're never quite sure where things are, what's going on, and what you're supposed to be doing. Staying organized doesn't mean that your desk needs to be impeccably clean, or that your date book needs to be meticulously organized... being organized means that you've developed systems and routines for business tasks to ensure that
jobs are completed on schedule and appointments kept.
Become an adept. Expand your knowledge, and invest in yourself by becoming an adept in your field. Keep up-to-date on industry trends. Read the latest articles and books by successful individuals in your field. As you expand your knowledge, strive to become known for your expertise in your business. As you do this, more people will seek you out to tap into your expertise, creating more selling and referral opportunities.

Become a non-objectionable unblushing self-promoter. As you talk to friends, meet new people, and make business connections, don't be afraid to talk about yourself. Now, you'll want to make sure that you don't seem self-absorbed or unaware of others around you, but having the confidence in yourself and your business to tell people about it is an awesome marketing tool that many entrepreneurs don't take advantage of.

Get involved. Get out and get involved in the community that supports your business. Help with good causes, attend noteworthy events, and get involved with charitable organizations, have sponsorship in some sports or festivals, make projects. As you do so, people will come to know, like and respect you, which makes them all the more eager to do business with you.

Build an honourable reputation. A good reputation is unquestionably one of your most valuable and marketable assets as an entrepreneur. While a good reputation is not something that happens overnight, it can be earned by being honest, reliable, trustworthy, honorable, consistent, and friendly. And remember, while it may take months to build a good reputation, it only takes one second to ruin it. So, be careful of your reputation for it is your greatest investment.

Good luck in your business venture’ God bless!
